Tracing the history of the internet, the National Media Museum’s Life Online was the world’s first gallery dedicated to exploring the social, technological and cultural impact of the internet.
In late 2011, Imran was asked to join the advisory board for the gallery, contributing to the discussions that would shape the gallery’s content and a series of launch events in Spring 2012.
As part of its spinoff LSx brand, Carbon hosted a trio of film screenings during the launch weekend: PressPausePlay, Twittamentary and Star Wars Uncut, each illustrating how internet culture has given rise to new forms of creativity.
